I spent 20 years on the hiring side before I started Allora — and coached people through their careers the whole way, informally and for free.
I began in creative services operations in New York, then moved into recruiting: creative talent first, then tech, across several New York agencies. In 2013 I drove to Los Angeles, where I built an original job search program for tech talent at General Assembly. From there I built the NFL’s technology recruiting function from scratch. Then Booking.com moved me to Seattle, and a year later to their Amsterdam headquarters — which taught me what no relocation package covers.
I made it a business in 2020. Since then my team and I have helped 800+ professionals — most of them in the US — run sharper job searches, negotiate better offers, and grow into the roles they actually want. Some are pivoting industries. Some are stepping into leadership. Some are moving abroad.
What they have in common is that they aren’t leaving it to chance.
